Assurances are words.
Words, to be communicated, have to be relayed.
To relay words, you talk (virtually/physically).
Talk isn't cheap. Talk is just free.
In which case, I equate assurances as being free too.

Who knows if they are true?
What are sweet talks for?
To make someone temporarily happy?
To ease someone's anxiety, fears, worries?

How do we even define significance?
Through the amount of assurances and talks?
But then again, wouldn't it equate significance to being free if it's based on the mentioned duo?

Sigh. The many questions, the many definitions, the many differing perspectives.
What is the truth actually?
I guess, it's just how we feel deep down.
Without spoken words.
Because without speech that manifests itself into a veil.
It may allow us to connect with how we really feel about someone.
And allow that someone to feel how you feel about them.
Be it a spouse or a friend.
I suppose it works the same.

Because, I guess, when it comes to putting down in words your genuine love for someone.
Is a more difficult feat than writing a 1000 word long essay that take the place of a masquerade.
